Henry Santana, At-Large City Councilor, was born in Bani, Dominican Republic, and raised in Mission Hill, where his journey from public housing to becoming a first-generation college graduate shaped his commitment to equity and access. With over 15 years in the Mission Hill Summer Program and experience leading Mayor Wu’s Office of Civic Organizing, Henry has dedicated his career to breaking down barriers to civic engagement and uplifting communities across Boston. Guided by his lived experiences and resilience, he is committed to building a city where every resident has the resources to thrive and a voice in shaping a more just and equitable Boston.
