Councilor Gabriela “Gigi” Coletta, raised in East Boston by community advocates, has spent her life serving her neighborhood and amplifying the voices of those often overlooked. From Chief of Staff for Councilor Lydia Edwards to roles with the New England Aquarium and the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus, she has championed housing affordability, education equity, climate resilience, and leadership pipelines for women. A Boston Public Schools graduate with a Political Science degree from UMass Boston, Gigi continues to fight for an inclusive, engaged, and empowered Boston while living in East Boston with her partner, Sebastian Zapata.
